古诗词是中华民族的文化瑰宝,是培育民族精神的沃土。
Ancient poetry is treasure of culture of the Chinese nation, also fertile soil to develop the Chinese national spirit.

为了进一步活跃校园诗词文化,让学生领略古代诗词的独特魅力,全英部4月2日开展了以“传承中华诗词,弘扬经典文化”为主题的诗词比赛活动。
In order to activate the campus poetry culture, make students feel the special charm of Chinese ancient poetry, international department carried out an “Inherit Chinese Poetry, Promote classic culture” themed competition.

 

 

 

比赛分成两组,A组为2-4年级,B组为5-7年级,本次比赛共4个环节:诗词接龙、点字成句、火眼金睛和蛛丝马迹。
Students were divided into two groups, Grade 2-4 as group A, and Grade 5-7 as Grade B. There are 4 sections in this competition: Poetry chain game, make sentences with scrambled Chinese characters, penetrating insights, and the clues.

 

 

 

比赛开始前由主持人介绍比赛规则及注意事项,包括抢答题环节如何使用投壶。此外还有特邀了龙主任为我们点评诗词。
The host introduced the rules and precautions of the competition before it started, including how to use the pitch pot(Touhu) in the quick response questions section. In addition, besides, we also invited Ms.Long to give her comments on the poetry.

 

 

 

比赛开始后,每个班级的决赛选手都卯足了劲要为所在集体争光,专注于题目进行作答,台下观众也为各代表队加油助威。
After the competition started, the finalists of each class buckled down to fight for honour for their classes, focusing on the answers to the questions, and the audience also cheered for the teams.

 

 

 

经过激烈的角逐,四年1班、六年1班各获得本次比赛A组、B组的第一名,三年1班、五年1班各获得A组、B组第二名,二年1班、七年1班为A组、B组的第三名。到此,全英部首届诗词大赛也成功落下了帷幕,18位参赛选手的倾心准备为我们带来了一场精彩绝伦的比赛,这其中离不开每位语文教师的积极投入和每位班主任老师的大力支持。
After the intense competition, G4-1, G6-1 got first place in Group A and B, G3-1 and G5-1 got second place and G2-1, G7-1 No.3. At this point,international department 1st poetry competition came to the end. 18 contestants has brought us a wonderful competition, which is inseparable from the great efforts that each Chinese subject teacher has done, and the homeroom teachers’ support.

 

 

 

在这个过程中,我们感受到了参赛选手们丰厚的诗词积累与积极参与的热情,看到了他们积极踊跃地竞答与团结协作的精神。学生们在比赛中感受传统文化的博大精深,体味传统文化丰富的人文内涵。
During the competition, we felt the students’ abundant accumulation of poetry and enthusiasm to get engaged in the activity, and we saw their spirit of unity and cooperation. Students also felt the profoundness of traditional culture and experienced the rich cultural connotation of traditional culture.

 

 

 

是否获得奖项已不重要,因为我们欣喜地看到,孩子们积累与展现中华民族传统文化的热情空前高涨。
It is not important whether they win an award or not, because we are delighted to see that the children's enthusiasm for accumulating and displaying the traditional Chinese culture is upgrading to another level.

传承中华诗词,弘扬经典文化
