书法是我们中华民族独有的传统艺术，其历史源远流长，气魄盛久不衰。为了提高学生的书写能力，弘扬书法传统艺术，泰然学校于9月11日上午隆重举办书法比赛。

Calligraphy is an unique traditional kind of art of Chinese Nation with a long history and everlasting spirit. To improve the writing technique of the students and develop the traditional art of Calligraphy, Tairan School help a grand contest of Calligraphy in the morning of September 11.

活动中，学生们正身端坐，屏气凝神，认认真真书写着每一个字。

Students sat and hold their breathe at attention, writing each character carefully.

来一个大大的赞，外籍的小学生，汉字书写也是超级棒的呢！

A big thumb up to the foreign students, they were also doing great in the Chinese character writing.

正所谓"字如其人"，这些作品中有的清新秀丽，有的大气豪迈，彰显出同学们相当高的书法水平和个人文化素养。

There is a saying ----“The style is the man”. Some of these writing are fresh and beautiful, some are magnificent and bold, which presents the calligraphy level and personal quality of the students

此次书写比赛的开展，不仅为学生提供了展示自我的平台，更进一步推动了我校书法教育的再起航。
